The Spazms were reviewed once in Maximum Rock and Roll. I wish that review could be quoted verbatim. It said something about how they touted themselves as 77 punk and had a subhumans feel.
I think there were three incarnations with Jeremy and Paul Mott common to each incarnation. The first incarnation had Berrett Brobisky on bass, Jeremy on vocals, Paul Mott on Lead Guitar, and Ronnie on Drums. Ryan (also played in Valiant Thorr) was rhythm guitar in one incarnation.
They had two sets of original music. The first set included "succubus." The second set included "fuck kappa alpha."
They covered various Ramones, and pop punk songs. The first incarnation would play Sonic Reducer, by The Dead Boys, at the request of (that dude) that went on to start (that Nazi Oi band) with ex members of TheOJSymptoms and TheAgrovaders. They would often play with and cover songs from KillTheHippies.
