Oh yeah, what would have this all been without CD alley?
I can't remember a distro that really lasted. Why should it? CD alley had everything; tons of 7" 12" cds, used stuff, ect., ect. All of the necessary flyers to know whats up ect. Zines...
I bought Bacteria Panic sometime in 1995, I think. I guess it was the 4th or 5th zine that I had.
THOSE were so important, no internet, no egospace, none of that "PRINT ZINES" that you can hold in your hand. Oh yea I remmber I had a copy of inside front. I think that was more Hardcore sxe stuff, but still intersting, of course max.r and r, but the homemade diy zines were really important, do you remmber any??????
Subway was also important, I think without those sub cards life would have been hard, espeicaly when on the road ,doing what? going to a show.
"One 12" veggie please"
"Oh you want to use a sub card, humm where is this from"
" its a sub card I collect them from lots of subways"
"ok, I guess we have to take it"
Later during my second stint at subway they begain to put numbers on the these ticket that you had to collect. Before it was just a Stamp I mean an ink stamp, and then they changed to something like a postal stamp and every ticket had a number on it. So it would look a bit strange with nummber 5001,5002,5003,5004,5005,5006,5007,5008 on your subcard, "I was hungry that day" just wouldn't pull it. So, Someone developed a plan, every night this person would take aprox 25 stamps, after a month or so mix them up and then lick and stick and violla. subcards ready to go. Just goes to show, if you pay people shit wages, then they will steal, and steal, and steal. Oh and I also liked playing noise in subway when the manager wasnt there, that was the best.

I hadn't thought about those cards in eight years. As soon as I read that i could seriously taste the veggie burger sub. I ate so many of those things.
