Lavista's was a bar with a patio next to The Stop and Shop across 5th street from BackdoorSkateShop.

The patio had always beed a meeting place for the non-fraternity and towny folk. Som nights it seemed like it would fall off it was so crowded. There were plenty of fights and all kinds of drunken drug induced excitement. It was a favorite place for bands to have pizza and beer before playing at Backdoor.
